TEAM-BULDING FOR COMPANIES: A TEAM GAME… IN A MUSEUM!

Team-building means “the construction of a group”, be it a small or big one: to “build a group” is the base of the success and well-being inside and outside the workplace.

Work together and have positive exchanges with others, cooperate and build relationships, communicate and listen: these are all elements that can result in fulfilment and gratification for the individual as well as the company.

How do you combine fun and education, cooperation and a bit of competition in a team-building activity?

We at MacacoAdventures have planned some activities that will fascinate the participants with original, content-rich, games. All of them will take place in breathtaking sceneries, full of cultural hints that the city of Venice and Verona have to offer.

The “Maxi Scrabble in Museum” takes place in the beautiful spaces of the Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice, an elegant sixteenth-century palace that houses the original furniture and art collection of the noble venetian family Querini Stampalia.

Board games – in our case Scrabble – with their mixed need for strategy, creativity and competition, involve participants by engaging and fascinating them from beginning to end!

The goal of this team game is to create creative sentences – of full sense – playing their available cards – names, verbs, adjectives – in the best combination possible. This will require a double strategy: cooperation among participants and competition among the teams!

The teams will move from one room of the palace to the other leaving behind a trail of original and evocative sentences. The beautiful rooms with their ancient paintings, tapestries, furniture, and porcelain are the perfect environment to get hints for the creation of texts deserving of awards.

Sentences will wind in “paper snakes” that will create amazing visual effect, but do not think this game is only about re refinement and fascination: time is tight! The teams will have to be quick and the timer counting down the minutes will urge them to optimize the available time and be strategic, always engaged in dialogue with their rival!

An enriching and involving experience where incentives and instinct will be fundamental to motivate players to do their best in a fun and exciting environment!
